A HOUSE fire which engulfed the living room caused $100,000 to a Piara Waters home on Wednesday night.
Fire crews were called to the blaze just after 7.30pm after reports of a ‘large amount of smoke’ coming from the front area of the Hearst Link property.
When crews arrived just before 8.00pm, the blaze was already extinguished.
DFES officers began to ventilate the home and confirmed all occupants who were in the home at the time were accounted for.
One occupant sustained minor superficial burns, but St John Ambulance was not required to attend.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
