A FORRESTDALE swim school is making a splash on the national stage.

Seadragonz Swim School has been recognised for excellence in induction and professional development in the inaugural National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards.

The Royal Life Saving Society’s Craig Roberts said by celebrating the work done by individuals and organisations, the society aimed to motivate the industry to constantly review and develop safety measures.

“Seadragonz were recognised for their initiative to provide a wide range of opportunities for staff to expand their skill set,” Mr Roberts said.

The school was established in 2012 by Lari McDonald, an aquatic industry veteran.
