Gosnells: 64-year-old man fighting for life after assault; man (35) charged

A 64 year-old man is fighting for his life after an altercation in Gosnells yesterday .

Detectives have charged a 35-year-old man known to the victim with aggravated grievous bodily harm following the incident.

Police were called to a house on Harry Street about 8.30pm following a physical altercation between the two men.

It was alleged the 64-year-old man was kicked and punched and fell to the ground, resulting in serious injuries.

St John Ambulance was called and the man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Gosnells man is due to face the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
