CHRIS Goldberg has enjoyed a double dose of success at the City of Gosnells’ Community Art Exhibition and Awards, winning the competition’s two accolades.

Ms Goldberg’s painting ‘Invisible’ was a favourite among both judges and community members, as it won both the Overall Acquisitive Award and the People’s Choice Award.

The striking oil painting brought attention to disadvantage in an urban environment and will add diversity and depth to the City’s art collection.

Her painting beat out Carol Thompson’s ‘Twilight in Quinninup Southern Forest’ to win the People’s Choice Award by just a single vote.
