Gosnells carjacking: duo charged over incident that left driver uncounscious

ARMADALE police have charged two men over an incident in Gosnells last month where a man was injured and his car stolen.

A 25-year-old man from Gosnells and a 35-year-old from Kelmscott have been charged with aggravated robbery.

It is alleged the two men were taking a lift in the victim’s car when they asked him to pull over on Tonkin Highway in Gosnells.

As they were parked by the roadside police allege the victim received a blow to the back of the head, knocking him unconscious, before the two men took off in the man’s vehicle.

The 25-year-old Gosnells man will appear in Armadale Magistrates court today while the Kelmscott man appeared in Perth Magistrate’s Court on Sunday and was remanded to appear again at Armidale Magistrates Court on November 18.
