Gosnells cyclist dies following accident

A GOSNELLS cyclist died in hospital overnight from injuries sustained after being hit by a car at a roundabout in Gosnells.

Jamie Douglas Kneale was struck by a utility vehicle on Tuesday, March 29 at around 3pm at the intersection of Dorothy and Hicks streets.

The 43-year old was knocked from his bicycle in the collision and taken by ambulance to hospital, where it was found he had sustained a serious head injury.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is assisting Major Crash Investigation with its inquiries.
