Gosnells: elder to share stories of life and culture for Naidoc Week

Aboriginal elder Liz Hayden will host four storytelling sessions throughout the city during Naidoc Week.

Mrs Hayden said she would draw on experiences and tales from her life at the events.

“I’ll be telling stories about my life, how I was, where I grew up, where I was born, my unique birthplace, my family and my people,” Mrs Hayden said.

Mrs Hayden will speak from 1-2pm at Amherst Village Library on Tuesday July 4, Gosnells Knowledge Centre on Wednesday July 5, Kenwick Library on Thursday July 6 and from 10-11am at Thornlie Library on Friday July 7.

All events are free but require bookings.
