Gosnells: JDAP approves $3.5 three-storey development on Lissiman St

Ben SmithComment News

A JOINT Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) has approved a $3.5 million mixed use development on Lissiman Street in Gosnells.

The property, which will face out to Albany Highway and back on to Lissiman Street, is across the road from Gosnells Station.

The project also falls in line with the City of Gosnells’ Town Centre revitalisation, which includes plans to regenerate Lissiman Street.

The three-storey development will feature 10 residential apartments and 15 commercial units with added parking for residents.

JDAP approved the plans with a set of conditions, most notably planning approval shall lapse and be of no further effect if the subject development is not substantially commenced within the two year period.

The application was due to be heard in June but was deferred, which allowed the applicants to address previous concerns surrounding traffic, parking, acoustics and waste management.
