Gosnells residents urged to switch on their Christmas lights for annual competition

CITY of Gosnells residents are urged to switch on the lights this festive season as part of the City’s annual Christmas Lights competition.

Judging will take place between December 5 and 7, and entrants are asked to keep their lights on until 11pm on judging nights.

There are three categories in which residents can enter: best decorated street ($1000 prize and a commemorative street sign (minimum of five houses)), best private residence ($500 and a plaque) and best first time entry ($100 voucher).

Runners up in the private residence category will also be awarded $100 vouchers, and random entrant prize draws will give all entrants a chance to be a winner.

Residents can register before Sunday, December 3 and can find a list of locations via the City’s website.
