UPDATE: A patient in their 40s has been taken to Armadale Hospital to check for possible neck and spinal injuries.

They were able to exit their vehicle without assistance.

Emergency services have cleared the scene of the crash, where a car and truck have collided on Tonkin Highway.

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash, where a car and truck have collided on Tonkin Highway.

The accident happened about 2.16pm at the intersection of Forrest Road and Tonkin Highway in Hilbert.

It is believed at least two people are injured.

Paramedics are on the scene.
