Horseland Maddington pleads for return of stolen blue horse

HAS anybody seen Bluey?

Horseland Maddington is missing its landmark stationery horse Bluey that sits out the front of the store.

The horse was taken on August 11 between 6.15-8.30pm, according to store manager Bree Mustchin.

The organisation is also preparing to move from Maddington to Kelmscott and Ms Mustchin said she was afraid that Bluey would not be able to find his way home.

“All the customers use him to locate the stall,” she said.

“People have been coming in asking where he is.

“It’s not an easy thing to run away with.”

The life-sized horse is on wheels and is wheeled out the front of the shop every day.

Bluey has been part of the Horseland team for 15 years and said the store would offer an award to anyone that found the horse.

Ms Mustchin said someone could have wheeled it away or put it on a trailer.

The organisation posted about the missing horse on Facebook and attracted more than 900 shares.
