International violinist Rupert Guenther appearing in Bedfordale

INTERNATIONAL violinist Rupert Guenther will be playing in Bedfordale for one night only on December 3.

As part of the Music Meditation Concert series, the violinist and composer will play original pieces with influences from meditation practises from all over the world.

Guenther said he loves to play music that takes people on a journey.

“Music touches something in us. It helps us to reconnect with our true self and be more honest with ourselves; this is very healing and nurturing for people,” he said.

Trained as a concert violinist in Vienna, Austria, he has performed from New York to Brisbane and released 27 solo albums since 2003, five for ABC Classic FM.

The Wanneroo resident has worked with artists including Australian legends Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham.

The Music Meditation Concerts will be held at Kookaburra Yoga in Bedfordale; tickets are $44pp and places are limited.
