Kelmscott man (67) dies in Christmas Day crash

A 67-year-old Kelmscott man died after a traffic crash in Jelcobine on Christmas Day.

Between 12:30am and 5am, a grey Mitsubishi Magna sedan with three occupants was travelling along Brookton Highway.

About 20km west of Brookton the car left the road and rolled several times.

The 67-year-old man received life threatening injuries and died.

A 66-year-old woman received serious injuries and a 49-year-old man received minor injuries; both were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the Mitsubishi Magna travelling along the Brookton Highway during the early hours of Christmas morning.
