A LANGFORD restaurant owner is urging other businesses to be extra vigilant after his diner was robbed.
Yumsing Chinese Restaurant and Take Away Food owner Kim Mo had just closed for the night on Saturday, November 10, when a man returned and stole cash from the till just after 9.30pm.
Mr Mo said the perpetrator arrived about half-an-hour prior to closing and ordered food before he left.

READ NOW“He sat right at the back of the restaurant and after his meal he asked what time we closed and observed how to open the till,” he said.
“When my employee went home at 9.30pm, he came back about six minutes after on a motocross bike, parked it outside the building with it still running, opened the till and grabbed all the cash.
“Our alarm went off in the kitchen; we looked outside to see who opened the door but by that time he was almost halfway through the door and I gave chase.
“I chased him with a baseball bat and threw it at him, but he was too quick.”
Mr Mo said the man was dressed in black and appeared to have olive skin, with a slim, tall build and looked to be in his mid-20s.
Mr Mo urged restaurant owners to be on high alert and take more precautions.
“Do not leave too much cash in the till,” he said.
“Sometimes it is hard with businesses if they get more cash,” he said.
