Maddington man in Armadale Magistrates Court today after shooting

A 41-YEAR-old Maddington man will appear in court today following a shooting on Wednesday, October 31.

Armadale Detectives charged the man as a result of their investigation into the incident in Maddington where a man in his 30s was injured.

It will be alleged about 6.30pm the victim and the man were involved in an altercation at a house in Hibiscus Street where the victim received a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to Armadale Hospital and then to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery.

The man was arrested in South Perth on Sunday and has been charged with endangering a person’s life and discharging a firearm to cause fear, possessing an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and methylamphetamine and no authority to drive.

He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
