A MADDINGTON man has picked up his sixth division one Lotto win in five years.
The man – aged in his 50s – was one of 12 West Australian syndicate winners who shared in more than $658,000 worth of Saturday Lotto prize money at the weekend.
“The secret is in syndicates,” the man said.
“Not only do I increase my chances of winning but the cost is shared among 12 of us so it’s a relatively cheap way to play,” he added.
The man reckons he has pocketed almost half a million dollars in prize money through his syndicate strategy.
Owner of Hutton Street Lottery Centre & Newsagency, Sushie Govender, said five of the six division one winning tickets bought by the Maddington man were sold at her store.
“There must be something in the water so drink up and make sure you grab a ticket in tonight’s $40 million OZ Lotto jackpot,” Ms Govender said.
