DETECTIVES have charged a man over an alleged armed robbery at a Gosnells pharmacy on October 26.
A WA Police spokesman said about 5pm a man entered the Albany Highway store armed with a syringe and demanded money from a staff member, who gave it.
Gosnells police attended and searched the area.
‘Their attention was drawn to a car parked nearby,’ the spokesman said.
‘It appears the offender attempted to hide from police by climbing into the back of the vehicle, however the vehicle’s owner was still sitting inside.’
Gosnells officers arrested the man and Armadale Detectives charged him with armed robbery.
The Coondle man (33) was refused bail and appeared at Armadale Magistrates Court on October 27. He was remanded in custody and is due to reappear on November 25.
