Police and St John Ambulance staff took three young men to hospital after being called to the party in Atwell at 1.30am on Saturday, January 11.
The 20-year-old Forrestdale man died in hospital that morning. The other two men did not have life-threatening injuries.
Major Crime Squad detectives charged the 23-year-old Atwell man with one count of murder and two counts of unlawful wounding.
