Man in well: Armadale Police lay charge

ARMADALE Police have charged a man over the incident that left 19-year-old Chris Moore at the bottom of a well with serious injuries.

It will be alleged Mr Moore was walking from Gosnells to Kelmscott on Wednesday April 19 when he lost consciousness.

When he came to he was at the bottom of a 5-7m well at an abandoned church on Railway Avenue, with head injuries and fractured ribs.

He was helped out of the well and taken to Kelmscott Train Station.

A 26-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with acts or omissions causing bodily harm or danger.

He was due to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
