Man stabbed in road rage incident

POLICE are investigating a road rage incident in Thornlie during which a 36-year-old man was stabbed in the chest.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Burslem Drive and Spencer Road yesterday about 5.30pm.

The 36-year-old male victim got out his vehicle to confront the driver of grey Toyota hatchback about his erratic driving.

The driver of the Corolla got out the car and a physical altercation ensued, during which the victim suffered a stab wound to the chest.

It is believed the male fled the scene in the Corolla, travelling north on Spencer Road.

The man was taken to Armadale Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
