Man taken to hospital after assault at Huntingdale fast food joint

UPDATE: An Armadale Hospital spokeswoman said the man has been transferred to Royal Perth Hosptial, but is in a stable condition.

EARLIER: A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital after being assaulted at a fast food outlet in Huntingdale last night.

The victim sustained head injuries at the fast food outlet on Warton Road near Cook Street just after 10pm.

He was taken to Armadale Hospital for treatment. His status is currently unknown.

Police believe the offender or offenders fled the scene on foot and would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the incident or has information which may help identify those involved.
