A MAN has been threatened at knife-point during a robbery at a Maddington restaurant overnight.

Around 9.10pm, two men entered the restaurant on Binley Place, at which point one of the men attempted to pay for food via EFTPOS.

When his card was declined, he proceeded to threaten the staff member behind the cashier with a knife, before he stole the EFTPOS machine and cash and left in a blue sedan.
