Motorcyclist injured in Thornlie hit and run

A MAN in his 20s suffered leg injuries after he was knocked off his motorbike by a car this morning in Thornlie.

The man was riding along Spencer Road about 11.30am when he was struck by a car, throwing him from this bike near Glyndebourne Avenue.

The driver of the car did not stop.

The man was taken by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment, but his injuries were reported to be non life-threatening.

Police are still searching for the driver of the car and anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or make a report online.
