Mount Nasura man arrested following police chase over false plates

Ben SmithComment News

POLICE have charged a Mount Nasura man with multiple offences following a car chase through Maddington late last night.

Around 10.30pm, police saw a Nissan Pulsar on Gosnells Road West which displayed two different registration plates.

When police activated their emergency lights and siren to stop the vehicle, the drive allegedly accelerated away and travelled through several streets.

The car appeared to suffer mechanical troubles and came to a stop on Apley Street, at which point the driver fled the scene before being apprehended by police.
