Natasha to take part in US pony club quiz

Only four Australians were chosen to compete at the four-day tournament, part of the week-long Pony Club Festival in Kentucky that brings together thousands of people to take part in competitions and learning experiences.

Ms Williams had to undergo an exam and phone interview for her place on the Australian team travelling to the tournament, which will test both theoretical and practical knowledge.

‘It will be a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to share it with everyone and meet new people, especially my other team members,’ she said.

‘I can’t wait to tour the studs over there as well, and see how they do things differently.’

Ms Williams has been with Riverside Park Pony Club since she was six years old, and while she is now a schoolteacher during the day, spends her free time coaching the club’s younger members.
