New centre in works for residential development

The shopping centre will on the doorstep of the Stockland’s Newhaven residential community. Construction will begin this month and the shopping centre is expected to be open by mid-2016.

It will include a Woolworths supermarket, mini-major retail outlet, 30 specialty stores, five retail kiosks and six pad site retailers, plus 500 car parking spaces.

The shopping centre is the first stage of a sub-regional town centre, which will be 25,000 square metres when completed.
