Jessica WarrinerComment News

AN off-duty police officer was assaulted in Roleystone last night after a string of incidents in the area.

Three men broke into a bakery on Jarrah Road about 9.20pm and stole a number of items, after which they attempted to get into a nearby bank by breaking a glass panel on the front door.

The three men then went to a service station, smashing the window of a truck with rocks and assaulting a fuel tanker driver who locked himself in the tanker cabin to escape.
