A police officer at the centre of an internal investigation into an incident in Thornlie has been stood down.
The senior sergeant was stood down this afternoon, pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs Unit investigation, after police were provided with additional footage of the incident.
An 18-year-old man was struck by a police vehicle on Sunday and treated for injuries in hospital.
