One dead, three injured after Piara Waters crash

ONE person is dead and three are seriously injured following a crash in Piara Waters on Thursday evening.

Around 5.20pm yesterday, a grey Suzuki Vitara wagon travelling west on Armadale Road collided with a orange Toyota Coaster bus travelling in the opposite direction near Taylor Road.

A 51-year-old female passenger on the Toyota was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious pelvic, abdominal and leg injuries and later died of her injuries.

The Toyota’s 52 -old-male driver received minor leg injuries and was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

The 34-year-old female driver of the Suzuki received head and arm injuries and was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital, while her 34-year old-male passenger received pelvic and leg injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital.

Major Crash investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen either car in the Piara Waters area prior to or at the time of the crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
