WITH the popular multimillion-dollar Shipwreck Park and a newly opened dog adventure park on their doorstep, Hilbert residents aren’t missing much, except a place to get their caffeine hit.

But locals will be coffee-starved no longer with Stockland’s Sienna Wood estate celebrating the opening of its new Mooba Cafe on Saturday.

Free coffee will be handed out to the first 100 guests, while complimentary puppy-cinos, paw’dicures, balloons and face painting will also be on hand to mark the celebration.

Stockland WA residential general manager Col Dutton said the cafe was housed in a converted shipping container opposite the playground and just metres from the dog adventure park.

“We expect this cafe to become a firm favourite for locals, visitors and pets alike, especially as it overlooks our extremely popular Shipwreck Park,” he said.

Mr Dutton said a Mums and Bubs club and a Parents and Pups club would soon hold regular get-togethers at the cafe.

The Mooba Cafe opening celebration will be held on April 28 from 10am to noon.
