It all starts with tonight’s $30 million Powerball jackpot, before the most anticipated Saturday Lotto annual event goes up for grabs this weekend, the $30 million Megadraw.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it had been an incredible year of Lotto luck in Western Australia.

“Almost 10 million WA players have shared in a lottery prize this year, including 53 Division One Lotto winners,” Ms Compagnone said.

“These wins have ranged from around $5 to several multi-million dollar wins including the largest of $20 million.”

Ms Compagnone said some of the most popular winning Saturday Lotto numbers had been 10, 14, 31 and 35 each drawn ten times, followed by 1, 6, 7, 38 and 44 each drawn nine times.

She said the number 41 had been the most unlucky, only drawn twice.

“We’ve also had a few Lotto hotspots across the State in 2018,” Ms Compagnone said.

“Leading the tally has been Success with five Division One Lotto wins, followed by Beechboro, Gosnells, Mandurah, Palmyra, Perth and Victoria Park which have each produced two.

“At the end of the day, however, you just have to be in it to win it.”

Tickets for tonight’s $30 million Powerball jackpot are available until 6pm today, while WA players have until 6pm Saturday for their tickets in the $30 million Megadraw.

Tickets can be purchased from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.

Not only is WA set to welcome thousands of local winners in these draws, but the WA community will also benefit with both draws expected to raise a combined $7 million to support the local community.
