Jessica WarrinerComment News

LOCALS are invited to Piara Waters for a community safety day and festival this weekend.

Meet your local Canning Vale police, Kidsafe, fire and emergency service representatives and more, learn about the services available in your community, and enjoy the Constable Care puppet show.

This year’s celebration will also mark the launch of Piara Masala, a celebration of Indian culture brought to you by the Piara Punjab Club.

Mayor Henry Zelones encouraged community members of all cultures to come along and enjoy the festivities.

“There will be so much to do for the whole family,” Mr Zelones said.

The free event takes place on Sunday, October 15, from 10am to 3pm at Piara Waters Oval.
