Jessica NicoComment News

A CELEBRATION of diversity and culture will take over Piara Waters Oval on October 28.

The Piara Waters Community Festival is a free family event that will include a range of food offerings, rides, stalls, Aboriginal and Maori dance performances, Senegalese drumming, Constable Care puppet show, Jungle Body demonstration, police and ambulance demonstrations and performances from Showtime HMS Performing Arts and Harrisdale Primary School.

Armadale mayor Henry Zelones said the event would also have representatives from a range of safety and wellbeing services.

“All individuals have the right to go about their daily life without fear of risk of harm or injury,” he said.
