Piara Waters: musicians prepare for youth music event FRAMED Fiesta!

A LOCAL guitarist is gearing up for one of the performances of her young life this week.

Rubi Bates-Waltham (15) and her South Terrace band mates will take to the stage on Friday night during the City of Armadale’s FRAMED Fiesta! in Piara Waters.

South Terrace is one of two acts set to entertain the crowd at the youth music event, alongside DJ Tobias.

City of Armadale mayor Henry Zelones said they were proud to support the next generation of musicians.

“Every year we see some fantastic young musicians take the stage and put on a fantastic performance for the audience and I am sure this year will be no exception,” he said.

Limited tickets remain for the event, with each ticket granting the holder a free meal from the attending food van.

FRAMED! Fiesta is for young people aged 13 to 18 and will be held at the Rossiter Pavilion, Piara Waters from 6pm to 9pm, August 17.
