Plans scrapped for medical centre

Residents objected to the City of Gosnells about the centre, proposed to operate from a house, with a carpark to be built on the adjacent vacant lot.

Concerns included parking, traffic and security, and whether a surgery would be compatible with the surrounding homes, park and lake.

The proposal was due to go before council last Tuesday night, and staff had recommended council refuse the application. In light of this recommendation, the proponent withdrew the proposal before the council meeting.
