The vegetarian cooking demonstration will be held at the Lyal Richardson Hall in the Agonis building, Gosnells, from 4pm to 6pm.
Community Health Education presenter Jo Laing said people who attended would be educated on the health benefits of vegetarian cooking, including how a plant-based diet could improve health.
Theres so much more variety in the plant kingdom compared to the animal, she said.
Vegetarians generally have much more variety in their diet.
Mrs Laing said during the class people would learn how to prepare simple yet tasty vegetarian meals that were also economical.
There will also be two presentations by Dr Warren Grubb, who has been a vegetarian all his life, on the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle. The two presentation topics are Long life: is it all in the genes and Magic formula.
