Police allege drink-driving

Staff ReporterComment News

At 4pm last Wednesday Canning Vale police patrolling Lynwood stopped the accused woman’s car for a random breath test, which allegedly returned a positive reading for alcohol.

‘A two-year-old child was also in the vehicle,’ officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Simon Underwood said.

‘The child was delivered into the care of family who lived nearby, prior to the female driver accompanying police to the Canning Vale police station for a breath test, which returned a reading of 0.149 per cent.’
