They then stole a silver Mazda 3 and a replica memorabilia-style firearm and other property.

At 11.25pm, a number of men forced their way into a home on Marlee Court in Langford, armed with a firearm.

They searched the house and stole money before they left in the aforementioned Mazda 3.

About 11.45pm, the men forced entry to a house in Lewis Road armed with the firearm.

An occupant of the house arrived home while the offenders were at the property and they chased him and hit his car with a baseball bat, but he managed to escape.

Just after midnight, the group forced entry to a house on Pentecost Loop in Southern River and attempted to steal a Holden Commodore parked in the driveway, but were unsuccessful and drove off.
