Police believe crimes in Bayswater, Langford, Martin and Southern River are connected

POLICE are seeking information after a crime spree across Perth’s east and southeast suburbs overnight.

It is believed up to four men were involved in what police believe were four connected crimes across Bayswater, Langford, Martin and Southern River.

Police were called to a house on Garratt Road in Bayswater about 9.15pm last night after two men forced their way into the house and knocked the occupant unconscious.

They then stole a silver Mazda 3 and a replica memorabilia-style firearm and other property.

At 11.25pm, a number of men forced their way into a home on Marlee Court in Langford, armed with a firearm.

They searched the house and stole money before they left in the aforementioned Mazda 3.

About 11.45pm, the men forced entry to a house in Lewis Road armed with the firearm.

An occupant of the house arrived home while the offenders were at the property and they chased him and hit his car with a baseball bat, but he managed to escape.

Just after midnight, the group forced entry to a house on Pentecost Loop in Southern River and attempted to steal a Holden Commodore parked in the driveway, but were unsuccessful and drove off.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
