Byford: Police call for witnesses after train crossing triggered, delaying ambulance

POLICE are on the hunt for one or more people who triggered a train crossing in Byford last night, delaying an ambulance on its way to a cardiac arrest patient.

Mundijong Police tweeted last night at 11.29pm, addressing the “irresponsible person(s) who triggered the train crossing on Thomas Road, Byford at 10.30pm”.

The tweet said the train crossing had delayed an emergency ambulance that had been called to a cardiac arrest nearby.

Police have called for witnesses to the event, saying they will be reviewing CCTV footage.
