Police investigating Armadale and Gosnells robberies

POLICE are seeking details from the public following a robbery and an attempted robbery in Armadale and Gosnells.

In the first incident a man armed with what was believed to be a firearm, entered a pharmacy on Railway Avenue, Armadale about 4:50pm yesterday.

The man allegedly approached staff and demanded money and drugs.

He fled the store after being given a sum of cash and some prescription medication.

The man left the area in a dark coloured sedan.

He was described as being 30 to 40 years of age, fair skinned, approximately 183cm tall, of solid build, with a shaved head and a goatee.

He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, jeans and boots.

Meanwhile, a man attempted an armed robbery at a liquor store in Gosnells on Thursday, September 1.

About noon a man armed with a machete allegedly threatened the store attendant before leaving the store empty handed.

He was described as fair skinned, slim build, short brown hair and clean shaven.
