Police investigating serious Roleystone crash on Christmas Eve

A SERIOUS crash in Roleystone early on Sunday, December 24 is being investigated by police.

A Holden Rodeo utility was travelling west on Tyers Road about 2.50am before attempting to turn left into Jarrah Road.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll on to its side before sliding across the intersection; it eventually came to rest upright on the nature strip.

The driver and front passenger received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Two 18-year-old males and a 17-year-old female were believed to have been travelling unrestrained outside the vehicle and were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 17-year-old male driver is assisting police with their inquiries.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this crash, or saw the vehicle travelling prior to the crash.
