Police look for man who used syringe to steal taxi

POLICE are looking for a man who threatened a taxi driver with a syringe before stealing the taxi about 12.30am this morning.

A man approached a taxi at the taxi rank located at a shopping centre on Commerce Ave in Armadale and asked to be taken to an address.

Before the taxi left, the man threatened the taxi driver with a syringe.

The taxi driver managed to get out of the vehicle and the offender drove off in the taxi.

A short time later it was found abandoned on Mardi Court in Armadale.
