Police searching for man who assaulted elderly lady in Thornlie last week

POLICE are searching for a man who punched an elderly lady without provocation in Thornlie last week.

Around 6.20pm on Wednesday, a 73 year old woman was walking near a car park on Spring Road when she was approached by a man.

Without warning, the man punched the woman in the head and walked off in the direction of Gosnells.

He was wearing a dark navy long-sleeved windcheater and track pants and had scruffy greying hair and a beard, with blue and grey eyes.

He was described as fair skinned with a grey weathered complexion, 40-50 years old and around 170-175cm tall.
