Police smash meth distribution in Perth’s south eastern suburbs, 5 charged

FIVE people have been charged by police for running a meth distribution operation.

Detectives yesterday executed seven warrants in Harrisdale, Forrestfield, Gosnells, Martin, Forrestdale and Morley.

About 1.3kg of methylamphetamine and $200,000 in cash were seized, along with suspected stolen property and a variety of prohibited and controlled weapons.

A 39-year old Harrisdale man, 35-year-old Harrisdale man, two 39-year-old Gosnells men and a 29-year-old Morley man have been charged with a range of offences, including possessing a prohibited drug with the intent to sell or supply, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a prohibited weapon.

The men will appearing before Armadale Magistrates Court today.
