Rally opposes State forest logging

The rally was held as the State Government prepares to sign off on a plan that sets native forest logging quotas for the next decade.

The group, Forest Legacy, wants an end to logging in State forest, which it believes should remain intact for the sale of carbon credits.

It believes the plantation industry should grow to replace the native timber industry.
