The scholarships are designed to assist with educational expenses for Year 11 and 12 studies.
Marikoni achieved A-grades in her core subjects of English, mathematics, science, humanities and social studies and religious education.
Lumen Christi principal Darren O’Neill said Marikoni was an outstanding student.
“She has always achieved highly throughout school and is also involved in dance and the arts,” he said.
“I think the scholarship is important particularly as they are going into high school and all of the sudden you are buying computers and calculators.”
