GOSNELLS is gearing up to celebrate its seniors.

With Seniors Week coming up soon, City of Gosnells chief executive Ian Cowie said it was an opportunity to highlight the role of the City’s older citizens.

“The City’s Seniors Week events will celebrate the involvement of local seniors in our community and give them a chance to come together for a range of fun and interesting activities,” said Mr Cowie.

Events coming up include a trip to Perth Zoo, a Scam Alert workshop, free barbeque, bush dance and dinner, variety show and more.

Participants must be older than 55 and reside in the City of Gosnells.

Registration is essential and opens at 8am on Wednesday, October 18.
