SERPENTINE Falls has been closed to swimmers as serious water borne diseases may be present in the water.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions advised on Tuesday that due to recent rainfall, water quality at the falls has been compromised.
The Department did not say when the falls would reopen to swimmers.
Visitors can still use the picnic area and view the falls.
