Arranged by the Shire and supported by the Department of Sport and Recreation in partnership with JGC Group, the workshop hoped to assist clubs with the development of future strategic plans.

Twenty-three volunteers from 10 different sporting clubs from within the Shire attended the workshop and heard from JGC Group director Gary Collins about the importance of planning and goal setting.

Shire President John Erren said sustainability was crucial to the long-term health of local clubs.
