Serpentine National Park closed due to fire danger

THE Department of Parks and Wildlife has advised that the Serpentine National Park has been closed due to a high fire danger rating forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology for Perth metropolitan area.

Avon Valley and Serpentine national parks were closed from 8am today and will reopen at 8am on Thursday.

People are urged to avoid the area, follow the advice of Parks and Wildlife staff and observe signage.
